Natasha Gardos is a Melbourne based visual artist working across painting, printmaking, sculpture, and installation. Her work explores silence and the intangible, interweaving metatextuality, materiality, and autobiographical narrative. Each piece seeks to capture and unravel an internal space or a feeling, playing out a frozen, silent moment as it collides with her surroundings.
Natasha has works held in Marquette University’s Tolkien Fanzine Collection and the Brooklyn Art Library’s sketchbook collection. Her work has been published in Open Print Exchange 2021/22, the Brooklyn Art Libraries Sketchbooks of the World, Drawn 4: Leaders In Contemporary Illustration, and ArtEdit magazine.
She was the winner of the Verandah 37 Designers Choice award 2022 and her work has been exhibited at Kölner Graphikwerkstatt, Cologne, Germany (2022); Southwest Print Fiesta, Silver City, NM, USA (2022); Deakin Universities Searby Space, Burwood (2021); and the Victorian Artist Society, Melbourne (2019).
